In 2001 Tim Fleming founded Flatland OK, an effectually functioning real business set in an imaginary shopping complex. TraveLling under the moniker of the Founder Tim Fleming has developed a range of seditious objects, from the Shadows of Darkness figurines to ice mould busts of Famous Free Thinkers. Concurrently Tim has worked on installations featuring fictitious film sets, corporate foyers and modular furniture systems. Underlying this practice is an interest in alternative actions and outcomes based on facts and attitudes.
NEW VALUES is an installation of bars, graphs, tables and pie charts plotting an arbitrary terrain of blank values. It is a pseudo scientific Black Rainbow of imaginary ethical systems.
